# 羅馬體 Roman

羅馬體（ Roman ），發源自古羅馬石碑，字形具有平頭筆書寫的粗細變化以及雕刻產生的俐落感，最大的特色是筆畫的起尾端具有襯線。這樣的風格影響到文藝復興時期的歐文書法，讓羅馬體字母的比例與造型更為精緻，成為西方主流印刷字體之一。\
羅馬體一詞在不同情況也有不同的意思，不專門指涉特定風格。有時可以當作歐文字型中適於內文排版的字重，或相對於字母傾斜的義大利體（italic）來說，羅馬體是指無傾斜的字體。<br>
