# 義大利體 Italic

義大利體 (italic )是參考義大利文藝復興時期西洋書法的手寫草書而設計的印刷體，特色在於表現速寫時自然產生的向右傾斜角度、筆畫具有韻律感、起尾有連筆以及較為緊密的字距，當時常應用在排版上以節省版面篇幅。現在的義大利體在排版當中常與羅馬體（roman）搭配，用於文章中強調、引述的句子使用；義大利體一詞也單純用於歐文字型中斜體字型的名稱。此外，羅馬體做傾斜變形的設計則稱為oblique，中文通常稱為斜體，相較之下較無手寫特徵。<br>
