# 字元編碼 Character Encoding

「文字」與「編號」間的對照表，使電腦得以依編碼取得對應字元

字元依循特定標準，對應為編號或電腦內碼（稱作字碼、碼位），以供電腦、軟體取用。如目前廣泛使用的 Unicode、過往台灣常用的 Big5、日本的 JIS，都是常見的編碼方式。
